Pakki sarai or Pukhta Sarai(Sarai Sheikhan) Kala Shah Kaku

 

A splendid architecture of Pakki sarai or Pukhta Sarai(Sarai Sheikhan) located in the area of kala shah kaku disrict Sheikhupura.During Mughal era the Badshahi Sarek passed from here on the parallel of GT Road(Grand Trank Road). Only the main entrance of Mughal sarai left otherwise everything vanished from here. We can estimate its golry from its splendid Gateway. This gate is placed on high platform to prevent from flood. Now the buffalos are enjoying the remaining sign of heritage. The enterance shaped ruins with the passage of time due to our careless behaviour. After some decades this singh of inn vanished and another chepter of Badshahi Sarak missed forever from the book of History.
