Hindu widow home in Krishna nagar (Now Islampura) in Lahore. It is a mental hospital now after the partition of India.
Hindu Widows Home located at Lower mall Islampura(Former Krishna nagar) Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was a shelter home for Hindu Widows. It is one of the British times Monuments designed and built by great Philanthropist of his times named Sir Ganga Ram in 1921 A. D.
Hindu Widows Home Lahore was opened by His Highness Sir Edward Maclagan K. C. S. I., K. C. I. E, the then British Governor of the Punjab Province on Wednesday the 6th April 1921 A. D. It is Gift of one who feels for Widows. It worked as 'Hindu Widows Home' till Partition of India and now a mental hospital.
