Khan-i-Khana inn (Saraye) at Minhala Kalan Lahore.Minhala established by Abdul Rahim khan (Khan-i-Khana) during mughal period. khan-i-Khana inn is occupying by the local people and totally destroyed . Only little signs can be scene in this area. The inn is covered large area like fort where people were staying during their journey. Minhala is situated on Badshahi road which was contructed by Mughal Empire Akbar and Jahangir. Minhala has two parts (1) upper Minhala (2) lower Minhala.Khan-i-Khana was constructed inn in upper portion of Minhala. Abdul Rahim khan was the son of Bairam Khan Akbar's trusted guardian and mentor, who was of Turky ancestry. Abdul Rahim Khan was a famous poet who lived during Mughal empire Akber. He was one of the nine important ministers in his court, also known as the Nau-ratans. Rahim is known for his Hindi couplets and his books on astrology. Abdul Rahim Khan was born in Lahore17 December 1556 AD and died in 1626. He was buried in Nizamuddin East near Humayun tomb Dehli.Now the condition of the inn is pitiable and nothing to save.
